Fall brings both crisp air and the harvest. It’s a great time to go for a wine tasting at just about any vineyard in the country. Luckily, some of us don’t have to travel far for the experience.
A vineyard right in my own backyard, Great Frogs Vineyard in Annapolis, gave me a behind-the-scenes look at their operations and their process. What better way to end our day together than with a flight of five wines that the vineyard considers their best sellers.
Watch the Periscope video below that I live streamed from the vineyard. Travonne Gross, their appointed happiness expert took me around the property showing off the vines, the tanks, and the tasting room.
Our tour ended at one of the tasting room’s rustic barnyard tables, in front of a flight of five wines varying from whites, reds, dry and sweet wines.
What’s your favorite wine varietal? Do you have a nearby vineyard or wine cellar that you enjoy? Leave a comment below. I’d love to hear.
