In this video, I talk about the floating clip that you saw when you came on my site, Video Stir. Watch this 5 minute video or read the transcript below to learn more about this service and see how you can use it for your own website purposes.

Hi guys, it’s Tawanna here.
I have to like sit still because my screen capture has been acting a little cranky today so it doesn’t want to capture you know my first salutations like hey, it’s Tawanna. Welcome to my site. So I wanted to give it a couple of seconds to catch up. So, anyway, hi, welcome to the site. it’s Tawanna I think that was the third time that I said it. Im’ really excited to day because guess what , I’m doing another video.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know about something that you might have seen when you came to my website. It’s that cool pop-up video. At least, I think it’s cool.
It’s with a service called Video Stir.
I love when I find out about new internet toys. A friend told me about it a few weeks ago
This is the website right here. I got on it and I was instantly excited because I wanted to add some sort of video to my website but I like to change things up a little bit too much. (You know, like that person who likes to move their couch around once a month? Yeah, that’s kind of me.)
I didn’t want a static video. What you’ll see on my site you might also see on a real estate person’s site or a coach’s site. It’s a little different than going to a website that has a video embedded on it.
The Video Star floating clip is more three-dimensional.
You’re essentially your website’s presenter. And that’s what they say in their verbiage: that you are your website’s presenter.
You can talk about hot deals. You can give people new messages and it allows you to be a little bit more connected to the viewer.
So, you guys don’t know me unless you know me and unless you see me in real life. You don’t get a sense of who I am by just looking at the words on the screen.
However with the Video Stir, you can give someone a quick little introduction to tell them: who you are, where to go, what to do. The floating clip creates a level of interactivity, an interactive layer.
It’s really really cool and you can put it on any of your webpages. It all depends on what type of package you get with them.
To start off you can get a free trial with 100 views of the video clips. If you have an active website, that’s going to be used up in a second. You can always get other packages that have more views that work for you. It’s really easy to set up. It’s 1,2,3 -just like they’re showing you here.
One: you upload the video against a white wall. Yes, don’t do that. That’s one “don’t.” One “do”: plane white wall.
Another don’t: all the jewelry. I had to learn all of these things the hard way because I skimmed all of the “frequently asked questions” and the “how to” and the what not-to-do things.
The jewelry messes up your video feed a little bit but the guys over at Video Stir will help you out.
If you load something up someone will get back to you immediately. If you need help with something customer service is really good. Hit them up and let them know.
They have a four-minute video that shows you how it works and essentially how quick and easy it is to put a video up on the website. Get a friend to hold the camera up for you or you can also prop your camera up for yourself. Find a white wall and start recording.
It literally only takes a couple of minutes.
I have a deal for you. The deal is good until March 15, 2015. It’s a two-for-one deal. So whatever package that you get with them, and the packages start at $19, you will get a two-for-one deal. If you get one package, you will get the second package for $19.
It’s pretty valuable service. To redeem the deal, use the code: worldtravelmom. That’s me on Twitter. Hit me up. And enjoy.
Leave a comment here and let me know what you think about Video Stir. What do you think about the pop up? Can you see yourself using Video Stir for your own website? I look forward to hearing from you.
