Tawanna Browne Smith has created a third career for herself as a travel writer and family travel enthusiast. Since high school, travel has been an integral part of her life - from traveling across country for school, to studying abroad, to working in Emerging Markets, to traveling for performances.
She currently writes for 10Best.com covering all things travel-related in the Baltimore-Washington area and has written in the past for the NileGuide.com as well as the Examiner.com. Tawanna's been quoted in Black Enterprise Magazine and has contributed travel articles to several family-oriented sites such as BabyCenter, SpanglishBaby, and SocialMoms.
She works independently with tourist boards and visitors bureaus to help bring awareness to destinations for family travelers. Her passion for local and global philanthropy, a product of her graduate education in International Economic Development, promises to diversify her future travels - both solo and with her family.
