Road Trip – NJ Turnpike (Anecdote)
We went up to New Jersey to visit my best friend and her family and were VERY lucky to not encounter traffic on the turnpike . Part of that “luck” had to do with leaving earlier than the rest of the “world” traveling North to New York for the 4th of July. Sundays on the turnpike are a horror but holidays are plain torture and an inhumane act for your young children. (Ok, maybe I’m being a little dramatic but you get my point. If you plan to travel on the turnpike, do it early).
Once we arrived we were very happy to get out of the car. In this clip I show you what we packed for our weekend stay with our pals. I’ve learned the bigger your bags are, or in this case, the bigger your trunk is, the more stuff you find to put in it. One thing I can say is we didn’t have a need for anything forgotten.
We give you pointers for taking a road trip to New Jersey but if you’re looking to move there, seek New Jersey Movers* to help you out.
